About Jeff Williams
Born in Gary, Indiana, I began my art career while in college in Washington DC over 40 years ago. My artistic focus is 2-D and 3-D metal wall sculpture, jewelry and home accessories. I have a degree in Business Administration and have studied art, metalsmithing and jewelry making at schools/workshops regionally and nationally. I am committed to making art that creatively depicts mankind and the beauty of nature’s wondrous surroundings. As such, it is the human experience and nature that predominates the theme of my work. My artistic expression is heavily influenced by my cultural roots-African.
I have participated in a wide variety of art exhibitions including Fine Art Show Chicago, Indiana Black Expo Artist Market, Paul Henry Art Gallery, Modus Union Art Show, Washington DC, African Festival of the Arts, Chgo.. My work currently hangs in private and corporate collections in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Denver, Cincinnati, Houston, Indianapolis, Little Rock, Arkansas and throughout Northwest Indiana.
I am a member of The American Craft Council and the Chicago Artists’ Coalition and Society of North American Goldsmiths.
